The project was a good challenge. I really wanted to prioritize aesthetics because I think it's what makes a really attractive website. The hardest challenge was formating the navigation tab. It uses an unordered list, and the list elements are arranged horizontally. I also struggled to remove empty space between the navigation bar and header. However, I realized it was the margin preventing the sections from touching. Overall, I enjoyed the project, and I hope you enjoy the topic I chose!
For the final project, I redesigned the website for my business frat (UGA Dsp). I used word press and expanded on the theme I chose. One major improvement I made was I simplified the navigation menu from the original site. I also made the home page more informational, with buttons and links that lead to other pages on the site. I also used a plugin to make the gallery more interactive vs static photos. Overall, the final project was a great way to display everything i learned this semester!
